Kitchen Porter Immediate start
€11.30 - €13.00 per hour
Full-Time/Part-Time/Casual Shifts
We have a fantastic opportunity for Kitchen Porter roles with flexible hours in the Waterford City and Surrounding Areas. The successful candidates will be required to join a friendly and motivated Catering Teams.
Requirements:
- Must have a minimum six months of experience working in catering / kitchen environment.
- Must be available to work between 7am to 7pm full days
- Excellent English both written and verbal.
- People person and well presented.
- Experience in cleaning systems & high standards of cleanliness.
- Must have the ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment
- A good knowledge of busy kitchen operations
- Ability to adapt to working in new environments.
- Candidates must have two working references.
- Valid work permits to work in Ireland with no restrictions.
- Manual Handling and Food Safety Certificates ( Training Available)
- Must be flexible with working hours 5 over 7 days
Duties:
- Keep all kitchen areas and surfaces are clean and sanitized
- Working with and taking direction from the chefs.
- Following all HACCP procedures.
- Deep clean of the kitchens
- Ability to work efficiently and keep calm, under pressure.
- Sweep and mop floors
- Ensure all utensils, crockery, cutlery and glassware are washed properly, dried and stored correctly and are available as required
- Take in deliveries and distribute accordingly
- Waist control
- Any additional duties as required
