Yummy Cafe in Tralee are looking to recruit a Kitchen Porter to join their already very successful kitchen team and assist the Chefs in maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness within the Kitchen .
The Role:
This position is based in a busy Day-Time kitchen, and the KP should be available Mon-Sat (No Sundays or Bank Holidays).
Main Duties:
- Assist in the management of the wash-up section of the kitchen.
- Update HACCP records .
- Kitchen hygiene/cleanliness.
- Working with the chefs to ensure the highest level of cleanliness is maintained at all times.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but training will be given.
- Previous experience of HACCP is preferred but full training will be given.
- Fluent English essential.
- Good work ethic and flexibility in the role.
- Be able to work on your own initiative and be willing to assist when required in all areas of the kitchen.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- Team- player who can work well in a team or individually.
