Assistant Manager required for Cork (Service Station)

The ideal candidate will support the management team in all aspects of the operation of the store and duties will include but are not limited to;
- Support the store manager in the overall running of the store, including fresh food concepts
- Engage with new initiatives and embrace new ways of working
- Merchandise and present the entire store to the highest standard at all times
- Assist in the supervision of the retail sales team on a daily basis and ensure necessary tasks are completed to an appropriate level
- To communicate with the retail sales team regarding in-store sales and promotions
- Ensure that our customers receive the highest level of customer service at all times
- Ensure that any customer complaint is rectified satisfactorily
- To ensure cash handling policies and procedures are adhered to
- To ensure best practice policy is adhered to in terms of merchandising standards, store set up and finish
- Assist the management team in minimising stock loss through stock holding levels, wastage, damages and pilferage
- To assist the store manager in relation to Health and Safety and Consumer legislation
- To ensure that company policies and procedures are implemented and adhered to effectively by the retail sales team
- To undertake other additional duties as assigned by the store manager
