Our Cork site

The Cork site manufactures a number of established commercial products and is actively engaged in New Product Introductions from various clients.

Operating for over 40 years, the site is proud to manufacture and supply Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) to our customers for use in clinical trials and approved medicines for commercial supply - medicines to treat Cancer, Parkinson’s Disease, Depression, HIV, Congestive Heart Failure, Diabetes and Respiratory diseases, along with raw material for consumer healthcare products.

Job Purpose

  • Support, manage and lead the day-to-day and medium-term supply chain planning activities for the Cork Site in a safe, compliant, efficient and effective manner.

  • Collaborate with both on site and customer Technical, Quality and Planning staff


Supply Chain Planning

  • As part of the routine S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) process, ensure the creation, release and maintenance of production plans in SAP.

  • Escalate major supply issues in a timely manner.

  • Ensure that detailed master production schedules and plans are ready in time for budget/ forecast timelines.

  • Ownership for Supply plan in 0-36 months horizon

  • Support the preparation and issuance of the Weekly Site Shipping Schedule

  • Ensure that production plans are issued in a timely manner.

  • Monitor actual production achievement and rescheduling where necessary.

  • Assess requests to change the current/ future production plans.

  • Ensure any rework / reprocessing is progressed in a timely manner.

  • Prepare for and present at the monthly S&OP Meeting, part of the routine S&OP process.

  • Ensure the integrity and accuracy of relevant SAP data at all times.

  • Manage the inventory of products within applicable agreed stock policies

  • Ensure a strong working relationship with all other teams on site.

  • Be a key point of contact for production plan issue resolution.

  • Support and deputize for the Supply Chain Planning Lead as and when required.

  • Provide training where necessary.

  • Actively support and participate in all continuous improvements and LeanSigma/OE activities.

What we’re looking for

  • Degree level qualification in Science, Engineering, Business studies, Commerce, Business Information Systems, or other Business-related field is preferred

  • Previous experience within a similar industry is highly advantageous

  • Results orientated approach

  • Confident and customer focused
