Title and Summary
Vice President, Business Administration
The Business Administration role is responsible for the overall strategy, operations, and communications of the Markets & Localization (M&L) organization with an emphasis on the ongoing progress and deliverables. Within M&L, the function owner, is the operational heartbeat of the organization, drives accountability of deliverables and seeks common goals to be shared across all budget unit directs. The function owner drives strong partnerships through collaboration with key stakeholders EVP Directs and their staff and strategic partnership across appropriate business units.

Role Overview:

  • Drive the cadence, standardization and content for business, operational and strategic drivers
  • Partner with other business units and influence strategic directions to ensure alignment
  • Broker and facilitate program direction discussions/conflict/resolutions
  • Drive internal strategic projects focused on improving the operations of the organization, financials, and communications

Operations:
  • Drive the M&L execution against the technology strategy plays
  • Run the rhythm of the business; monthly, quarterly, yearly operations plan
  • Work across regions/time zones to collapse the distance between technology and the regions
  • Coordinate and drive operations and strategic reviews
  • Develop, manage and drive the progress of team goals (in partnership with Human Resources & Finance)
  • Identify efficiency opportunities and drive associated initiatives to improve performance and success of the organization
  • Engage with finance partners as needed to drive business data analysis to help drive strategic decisions
  • Co- lead budget with Finance and head count oversight at the overall M&L level
  • Drive in partnership with Finance the annual planning process, headcount allocation, portfolio management, etc.
  • Optimizing contract/vendor management

Communications:
  • Set and drive regular cadence of communications to various stakeholders including internal leadership, employees, and external audiences
  • Partner with Communications & Marketing to drive customer and organization communications and related items
  • Co-Manage with Executive Assistant agendas/topics for staff meetings, all hands meetings, strategic off-sites and manage follow- up tasks
  • Prepare updates and business reviews with executive leaders

  • Ability to manage across all levels of a complex environment
  • Proven project management skills
  • People management experience a plus
