An excellent opportunity has arisen to work as a Catering Assistant Manager for University Waterford Hospital. Reporting to the General Manager on site, this is a full time (40 hour), permanent position which requires the individual to work Monday to Friday. You will be responsible for all food operations, Shop and hospitality, in addition to covering for the GM when they are off.

A day in the life of a Catering Assistant Manager:
· To ensure the smooth and efficient running of the Restaurant and Shop, ensuring standards and guest satisfaction are always maintained thus ensuring revenue is maximized.
· The position oversees the development and implementation of departmental strategies and ensures the implementation of the brand service strategy and brand initiatives.
· To have an excellent knowledge of all revenue, budget, and all sales figures and to be an expert in food & beverage pricing.
· Consistently high standards of quality through training and monitoring.
· To assist in auditing department for service and quality and to assist in implementing strategies to improve results.
· Plan and direct the day-to-day Restaurant and Shop operations including quality, standards, cleanliness, customer liaison, security and maintenance, stock control
· Ensure that the highest possible standard of personal hygiene, appearance, body language and conduct of employees is maintained by all employees in the department.
You’ll be all set up for success if you have:
· Previous experience in a Restaurant/Hotel management role within Hospitality.
· Excellent Leadership skills, motivating, engaging and developing the team
· High standards, paying meticulous attention to detail.
