Glynns are one of the leading suppliers of Building Materials, Hardware and DIY products in Connacht. We are currently recruiting a Trade Counter Retail Assistant for our busy store.
If you have a positive outlook, are customer focused and have an appetite for a fresh challenge matched by the desire to learn and succeed, then this is the opportunity for you. Our structured training will give you responsibility from day one and help develop your commercial know-how through hands-on operational experience.
Your Profile
- You have completed your Leaving Certificate or equivalent.
- A certificate in Business or Construction studies from a 3rd level institution, while not necessary would be a proven advantage.
- Flexibility to work a six day rota.
- Strong interest in developing a career in retail.
- Proficient in Microsoft office applications such as Word & Excel.
Your Tasks & Responsibilities
- Support the Department Manager in the day-to-day operations of the store.
- Ensure adequate stock levels are maintained at all times.
- Consistently deliver excellent customer service.
