We are currently looking to hre a passionate individual with Hotel resrvations Bacground on the position of Reservations Team Leader.

A Reservations Supervisor oversees the reservations department; its operations in selling rooms and managing inventory to maximise transient sales; and training of staff.

The Team Leader also assists guests with their enquiries and ensures that their requests are dealt with in a timely and professional manner to avoid a backlog of bookings. Any special guest requests are conveyed to the front office.

The Supervisor works with reservation agents to resolve any issues guests may have, and recommends appropriate measures where required.

Main Duties

  • Supports the Revenue Manager and the Reservation Agents.
  • Supervises all aspects of the reservation department, including commitment, groups and administration.
  • Supervises the process of quality controls completed by the reservation agents.
  • Supervises the team of Reservation and manages them in the absence of the reservation manager.
  • Maintains a productive relationship between hotel departments and reservation office.
  • Maintains high coordination with the sales team to enhance hotel occupancy and eliminate chances of lost business.
  • Ensures all policies and procedures are being always maintained.
  • Manages to deal with all levels of customers, individuals and corporate.
  • Prepares all required reports on monthly basis.
  • Performs activities and responsibilities of a reservation agent.

  • Demonstrates a positive attitude-resilient, realistic, enthusiastic and dependable
  • Is articulate-able to communicate, influence and persuade.
  • Possesses good keyboard skills with reservation experience in same position at 5 stars hotel.
  • Has experience of-and is committed to-excellent customer Service. Is friendly, helpful and able to build rapport with customers.
  • Enjoys working with and supporting other team members but also accepts individual responsibility.
  • Understands sales rationale and appreciates the benefits of working to sales targets. Has the desire and confidence to sell.
  • Have the ability to supervise the team and delegate works with strong follow up
