We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Blue Team Instructor. This position offers a unique opportunity for relocation to one of our cyber academies, where you will contribute to the development of the next generation of cybersecurity professionals.
Responsibilities:
- As a Blue Team Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in the areas of Digital Forensics and Incident Response (DFIR), Security Operations Center (SOC), and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM). Your primary responsibilities include:
- Curriculum Development: Develop and update training materials for courses related to DFIR, SOC, and SIEM, ensuring relevance to industry standards and emerging trends.
- Instructor-Led Training: Deliver engaging and effective classroom and hands-on training sessions to students, ranging from beginners to advanced levels.
- Lab Management: Oversee and maintain cyber labs for practical exercises, ensuring they reflect real-world scenarios and technologies.
- Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to students, fostering a positive learning environment and facilitating skill development.
- Assessment and Feedback: Evaluate student performance through assessments and provide constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.
- Stay Current: Stay abreast of the latest developments in cybersecurity, DFIR, SOC, and SIEM to update curriculum and enhance instructional content.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other instructors, industry professionals, and curriculum developers to enhance the overall quality of the cybersecurity program.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degrees and relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, GCFA, GCIH) are a plus.
- Extensive hands-on experience in Digital Forensics, Incident Response, Security Operations, and SIEM implementation.
- Previous experience in training or teaching, with a passion for knowledge transfer and skill development.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
- Experience with industry-standard tools and technologies used in DFIR, SOC, and SIEM environments.
- Ability to adapt to evolving technologies and methodologies in the cybersecurity field.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Willingness to relocate to one of our cyber academies.
