Learning and Engagement Administrator - Clondalkin

Part of Grafton Group Plc, Chadwicks Group is the market leader in the builder’s merchanting industry in the Republic of Ireland. The core business is through the traditional Builders Merchants division. Main brands include Chadwicks, Cork Builders Providers, Davies & Telfords. These include Heitons Steel, Panelling Centre, Morgans Timber, Proline & Sitetech.


Principle Objective

As the Learning and Engagement administrator, you will join the HR team at Chadwicks Group and be responsible for the Learning and Engagement teams administration and co-ordination. You will report to the Learning and Engagement manager and manage the day to day admin for the team while working on ad-hoc projects.


Knowledge & Experience

  • Strong administration skills
  • Some understanding of Learning and Development /Colleague Engagement and communications
  • Strong written communication & oral communication
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks daily
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Creating new learning items, scheduled events, classroom learning and eLearning in LMS
  • Recording attendance, co-ordination & evaluation of internal & external training programmes
  • Manage all enrolment and logistical requirements, including on the day of training events
  • Assist with the scheduling of training sessions and notifying of all relevant parties
  • Manage the administration of our colleague engagement initiatives
  • Budget and invoice management
  • Involvement in ad-hoc project work throughout the year

Contract Type

  • Permanent full time
  • Full time 39-hour contract
  • Working week Monday to Friday (Hybrid Working)
