Moore Graduate Programme Dublin [Ireland]

Moore Graduate Programme – Audit Department

Our graduate programme fast tracks you to success, moving you from graduate to qualified accountant with either Chartered Accountants Ireland (ACA) or the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). Moore has platinum status with ACCA, allowing ACCA trainees to avail of the exemption to prepare a training diary during the course of their traineeship with us.

Our programme is aimed at third level (level 8) graduates coming from accounting/business & finance academic backgrounds. You do not need to have had prior practical experience in an accounting firm in order to apply.

We offer a comprehensive traineeship to cover all aspects of your development. Alongside the varied work experience you will receive, we also provide our trainees with the best in house training.

Everything we do during our graduate programme is focused on providing you with the best possible training in the broadest range of accounting disciplines. Your traineeship will include mentoring and development of skills in the areas of:

· Audit cases

· Audit exempt cases

· Financial statement preparation

· Corporation tax

· Management accounts

· VAT/PAYE & other tax areas

We have a wide range of clients across many sectors including manufacturing, shipping, property management, financial services, aviation, construction, leisure and hospitality, and technology. Our client base varies in size from large international groups to small/medium owner managed entities. We can offer a very broad experience to our candidates in multiple disciplines and across many industries. We do this because we know that you are our future and we want your experience to be as well-rounded as possible.

Diversity in Experience

We are passionate about diversity and inclusion and we seek to attract talented individuals from a wide and diverse talent pool. Our business is made stronger by the different perspectives and experiences of our people and we feel it is important and in line with our values that we continue to build a workforce which is representative of our society as it is today.

Retain Your Academic Focus

Almost all of our work culminates in analysing something complex, breaking it down into something simple, understanding it, explaining it, and writing a meaningful and constructive report. We want people to help us do this, and to do it well. We are keen to meet and invest in bright, energetic, analytical, mathematical, open-minded and diligent students. Following COVID-19, our work has become much more varied. COVID-19 has shone a bright light on the brittleness of our understanding of the contours of risk. In this regard, looking beyond 2023, we have made and continue to make assessments on upstream areas for our clients such as climate change, diversity and inclusion, operational resilience, cyber, liquidity and staff well-being.
